‘Under1000’ Gallery is an art initiative founded in 2014 with a mission to make Israeli art accessible to a wider, middle-class audience (original artwork, priced up to $1000) while providing a crucial platform for emerging Israeli artists. Over the past decade, since 2014 ‘Under1000’ has been a beacon for artists entering the art market, a primary platform for over 800 Israeli artists to sell their art.
But today due to the long lasting war and like many other cultural institutions in Israel, ‘Under1000’ has faced immense challenges. We are down to just one gallery and fewer than 50 artists. Many of our artists are also facing financial hardship
This is why we are reaching out to global Jewish as well as international pro-Israeli private people & organizations for support during this difficult time.
